For architecture students and architecture school applicants

Plans, sections, renders, and models, organized into projects someone can actually follow, on a laptop or a phone.

What a architecture portfolio has to do

Architecture portfolios mix media more than almost any other discipline: technical drawings, hand sketches, physical models, renders, diagrams, and site photography, often all for one project. The challenge is making that read as one coherent story rather than a stack of sheets.

Architecture work is also usually laid out for large-format print. Sheets designed for A3 or bigger become unreadable on a phone. A website lets each drawing be viewed at a legible size, with zoom where fine detail matters.

01What your site can hold

Built around your architecture work.

  • Project narratives

Site, brief, concept, development, and final proposal, in order.

  • Technical drawings

Plans, sections, elevations, and details, sized to stay legible and zoomable.

  • Physical models

Final and process models, photographed from several angles.

  • Renders and visualizations

Presented alongside the drawings, so the design and the image-making are both clear.

  • Diagrams and concept sketches

The drawings that show how the idea formed.

  • Project facts

Year, studio or course, program, site, scale, and whether it was individual or group work.

02 · Why custom design matters

How we present architecture work

A template decides the layout before it has seen your work. We design the other way round.

Drawings that stay readable
Clean backgrounds and sizes where line weights hold up, with zoom for detail.
A repeatable project structure
Every project follows the same sequence, so reviewers can compare them quickly.
Wide images stay wide
Layouts that respect landscape drawings on desktop and still work on narrow screens.
Room for your PDF
A downloadable PDF portfolio can live on the site too, for programs that also ask for one.

03 · Before we start

What to prepare

  • High-resolution exports of drawings (PDF or large images, not screenshots)
  • Photos of models against a plain background
  • A short info sheet per project: brief, site, program, year
  • Your role in any group projects
  • Sketches and process work you'd like to show

Always follow each program's own submission requirements first. Your website complements them.

04 · How it works

Five steps, each approved by you

  1. Portfolio review
  2. Direction and structure
  3. Design
  4. Build and revisions
  5. Launch

We don't have architecture examples to show yet. Every site is designed from scratch, so the current examples show how we think about structure and color. Your site would be built around your work.
